The Jukebox is for all hands- for those who remember their elementary school library and the taunts from the ostentatious cellophane wrapped books that sat five shelves high when they were only one shelf tall, for those who migrated with a reason but never found a reason enough to stay, for those who disconnect with bloody maries under the sun, bottles of wine under the bridge, or a bottle of Single Barrel under the bar; for those who’ve loved ‘em and left em’ but left a minute too soon, for those who have ever taken in a temp job that never paid and never ceased, for those who have ever worried they were a sex addict, for those who have ever sought buried treasure from a map drawn on a cocktail napkin, for those who ever have been called morbidly obese or morbidly obscene, for those who have lived homeless for three weeks in their parents backyard, for those who have mistakenly referred to their girlfriend as mom (more than once), for those who have ever had the neighbors threaten them with a dead animal on the doorstep, for those who have ever taken the animal to a taxidermist and returned the animal as a gift, for those who laugh at funerals and sleep at weddings, for those who won’t grow up without a glass knuckled fist fight and for those whose mental capacities won’t allow them.
Napoleon’s Jukebox is a rest stop from the MySpace traffic, a park bench from the Internet shopping, some pillow talk after long hours of porn, or a safe haven from IM stalkers.
